Dr Justin F. Gallagher is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the University of Leeds' School of Mechanical Engineering, specialising in rehabilitation robotics and digital health. His research combines robotics, AI, wearable sensors, and cyber-physical systems to help people with neurological conditions recover movement. He holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Robotics from Leeds, has founded technology companies, and teaches engineering students while collaborating with industry on healthcare innovation.
