Background

Kaan Esendag was a 3rd year Mechatronics and Robotics student at the University of Leeds.

His individual project was a rehabilitation robot for rehabilitating the wrist of stroke patients. The device was designed as a modular attachment to MYPAM and the project mainly focuses on mechanical design of the device using CAD programmes such as SolidWorks, as well as designing the whole circuit board and the motor controller on a PCB using EAGLE.

Individual projects give student reserachers a chance to show technical independence and creativity.
